As much as i love a matte bronzer for fall and winter I get very excited when spring comes and I get to pull out my glowy bronzers.
Spring comes and I’m all about dewy and light base, glowy cheeks and of course some bronzers that add to that spring/summer glow.
There are a couple of bronzers that I use all year long like the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. That palette is my go to favorite bronzer and highlighter palette. The bronzer side is the perfect shade so you can use it for contouring and for bronzing up the face and the highlighter is just this beautiful pale gold shade and it can get pretty intense if you use a heavier hand. The other Charlotte Tilbury product that I love is her Beach Stick in Ibiza. This cream product is perfect for giving your face some warmth and you can also build it up for that “I just came from the beach” look. One of my newer cream product purchases is the Kevin Aucoin The Creamy Glow duo. It has a sculpting medium shade that has brown, gray and red pigments so it’s very nice for creating a natural looking shadow and the cream highlighter called Candlelight is a champagne gold with luminous finish. This is the most natural highlighter that I own and cause of that it can be easily worn during the daytime. There will be a blog post dedicated to this product so you will see how it looks when swatched.
The Hourglass Radiant Bronze Light bronzer is also a newer purchase but I’ve been using it so much that I had to include it in this post.This bronzer is summer in a pan, it gives the perfect bronze beach glow to the face without looking frosty and without any shimmer on your face. And the last bronzer that I picked for my Spring Edit is the Clarins Splendours Summer Bronzing Compact. Now I have to admit that I bought this bronzer cause of the beautiful pattern but ended up liking the product too. The bronzer is huge so you do get a lot of product for the price but it’s on the warmer side and it’s very pigmented so if you’re not a fan of warm bronzers you will probably not like this. Otherwise I think this bronzer is perfect for us girls with medium skin tone :).
