If you follow my blog you’ll know how much I like lip products in a pencil form, add a matte finish to that and I’m in love :).
The Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils come in fifteen shades and you get a good variety of colors starting from nudes to dark vampy purple shade. They’re a combination of a lipstick and lip pencil so you get the creaminess of the lipstick and the convenience of the lip pencil.
The formula is matte but not drying. They are very easy to apply, they glide very nice on the lips and stay put cause of the matte finish.
Of course I went for the neutral shades so I picked up: Bettina (natural rose beige sheen), Dolce Vita (dusty rose) and Bahama (pink brown).
The only downside for these is that you have to sharpen them so you’ll loose some product in the process, otherwise I love everything about them, from the creaminess to their longevity.
I think my next shade would be a red, I’m eyeing Cruella which is a scarlet red or Dragon Girl that leans more on the orangey side.
