Like i said in the previous post you really need just a dot to get a very nice opaque color. Keep that in mind and don’t over do it cause if you apply too much it does tend to feather out.
All the colors are meant to be mixed so you can adjust the color if it doesn’t work for you. They also have this set in a Vivid version if you’re more adventurous.
Now let’s get to the colors.
Clockwork is a rich terracotta with orange undertones. It does have orange undertones but when applied on the lips you get more of a wearable coral color. All the swatches appear glossy but they actually dry matte. When applied they do look like they have a glossy finish but with a little time they dry matte and don’t budge. I’ve also noticed that these stain your lips so they’re long lasting.
Hush is described as a bridal pink. It’s an every day color for most skin tones and very wearable. It’s very good to mix with other shades if you want them to be lighter.
Memento is a mid tone pink plum. This shade is the most wearable in the set. Applied on the lips it looks like a deep pink nude shade.
If you have very dry lips I don’t recommend going for the matte finish, you can try the glossy finish cause they’re more comfortable to wear but they don’t have the pigmentation and longevity as the matte shades.
I do like a matte lip so before I apply them I always make sure my lips are hydrated and don’t have any dry patches. They’re very long lasting and last on me around eight hours.
