Rodial Skincare is a luxury brand that has skincare, makeup and beauty products and it’s based out of the UK. I’ve heard great things about their skincare line. They have these pretty cool skincare products like the Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel and Pink Diamond Instant Lift Serum.
Aside from their skincare line they also have a makeup line that’s very impressive. First the packaging is one of the best I’ve seen that comes from a luxury brand, especially their face powders. But also the product that’s inside is top notch.
I had the opportunity to try some of their makeup products and I have to say that I’m hooked.
Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder* is a powder for sculpting. It’s the perfect cool toned grayish brown that imitates shadows in the most natural way. It’s pigmented but not as pigmented that you have to be careful with application, it blends really nicely to the skin and it’s also buildable if you like a stronger contour. It only comes with one shade as it supposed to be an universal shade and it actually is. I’m not sure how this will work for deeper skin tones but it will work great for fair up to medium, medium-deep skin tones.
Rodial Instaglam Compact Translucent HD Powder* is a soft, finely mild mattifying powder that blends perfectly in to the skin. It helps with setting you makeup and keeping you matte all day. I’ve also noticed that it blurs out my pores and imperfections. You can use it all over the face, on your t-zone or just under the eyes. And what’s best about this powder is that it doesn’t add any color to the face since it’s translucent plus it doesn’t cake up my face.
Rodial Instaglam Highlighter* is very similar to the well known YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch. It has a yellow tint that’s perfect for highlighting the under eye area and the consistency is not heavy so it’s good to use over concealer. I like using this under my eyes but also on my forehead, my nose and chin for a subtle highlight.
Rodial Instaglam Magic Pen Eye Glow* is meant to help with eye brightening. You can use it in the inner or outer corners of the eyes to brighten them and fake a good night sleep. You can also use it along the waterline to counteract redness and also brighten your eyes or as an under brow highlight. It’s a versatile product that sometimes I even use as an eyeshadow.
Rodial Glamstick in Thrill* is a browny nude tinted lip butter. It adds hydration to the lips and it’s enriched with Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter to hydrate and protect. It has a slight coconut scent that smells like vacation in a tube for me, I just adore the smell. I find that it adds more color than your regular tinted lip butter which I really like.

I didn’t swatch the HD powder since it’s translucent and it doesn’t show up on my skin.
I really like everything that I’ve received from Rodial Skincare. I would say if you have to pick one or two products go with the Contouring powder and the Glamsticks, they’re both awesome.
