BEAUTY,

My No Makeup Makeup Look

Yesterday I was getting ready to go out, just to walk around Pearl St Mall and grab some gelato so I went with a very natural every day makeup look. And then I realized how many products I need to achieve a no makeup makeup look. It’s crazy to think about that I still have so many steps just for natural makeup. But I’ve done this look so many times that I only need 5-10 minutes to get ready. My secret – use your fingers as much as you can.

Base – I always go for a lighter base, something like the Chanel Les Beiges All In One Healthy Glow Fluid. I like the dewy natural look that it gives and I can also use my hands for quicker application. For concealer I really like the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer cause it provides good coverage and I can use it both for under eyes and on blemishes. For setting powder I’ve been testing the Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Powder and you’ll hear more about it soon. I just have one word, LOVE!

Bronzer and Cheeks – Since it’s summer I skip the contouring for natural days and go with a bronzer that provides warmth and glow to the skin. I’ve been loving the bareMinerals The Beach is Waiting bronzer which came in a set that’s still available on beauty.com and it’s well worth the money in my opinion. For the cheeks I also go with a blush that adds glow to my face something like the Hourglass Diffused Heat blush.

Brows and Lashes – When I do a natural look sometimes I skip filling in my eyebrows and I use the L’oreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Mascara. It has fibers so it makes your brows appear fuller and also it helps with adding a touch of color to the brows. For mascara I stick with my trusty old YSL Babydoll mascara. It’s the only mascara that doesn’t smudge on me and provides me with length and volume.

Eyes – Always go with a cream eyeshadow. I like them in a pot or in a stick form. They’re very easy to use and you only need your fingers for blending. I’ve been loving the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadows, the one pictured is in Mona Lisa, a beautiful rich chocolate bronze.

Lips – I love my matte lipsticks but when I do a natural look I always go with something sheer that provides a lot of hydration. The It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush in Rose Flush* provides a flush of color and keeps your lips hydrated all day. It also has a glossy finish so it’s all in one product. I’ve been also loving the new Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer in Pretty Thing. Described as a muted rose it provides a hint of color and makes your lips look so juicy and shiny. It’s a great lipstick topper but I also like wearing it on it’s own.

What’s your go to natural look? Do you use as many products as me?
