I enjoy putting on makeup. It’s a ritual that I love and when I have the time I spent probably an hour on my makeup. But most days that’s not the case and I have to get ready super fast so I figured out a routine that works for me and only takes me around 5 minutes.
Base: I always go for something lighter and a base that I can apply with my hands. My go to lighter base is the Chanel Les Beiges All In One Healthy Glow Fluid. It provides light coverage with a beautiful healthy and glowy finish. It’s best looking when you apply it with your hands and it just blends in to your skin beautifully.
Cheeks: I’ve been recently reaching for cream blushes. They’re super easy to use and you can also use your hands for blending and application. One cream blush that I’ve been enjoying is the H&M Beauty Cream Blush in Cameo Brown, a beautiful rose brown neutral shade that goes with everything. For bronzer when I’m in a hurry I always reach for my trusty Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. The shade is just perfect for my light to medium skin tone and the bronzer looks very natural on the skin.
Eyes: Cream eyeshadows! If you’re in a hurry they’re a life saver. I like them in a pot form but love them in a pencil form more because they’re easier to use. You also don’t need a brush for blending out a cream eyeshadow, you can just use your fingers and the application and blending will look perfect. My two choices go to Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Bronzed Garnet and By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock.
For mascara I’ve been reaching for the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. It gives me length and volume and it doesn’t smudge on me, plus it’s from the drugstore so very affordable.
Lips: Always a product that you don’t need a mirror for application. I’ve been loving a good nude lipgloss for every day because how hydrating they are and they also make your lips look healthy and juicy. A good peachy nude lip gloss is Hourglass Cosmetics Child, the formula is not sticky but it’s pretty opaque so you can get away with just wearing a lipgloss.
