Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte Lipsticks are a long-wearing, ultra-matte liquid lipsticks with intense pigmentation while being comfortable to wear. The formula is infused with beeswax that helps with the lasting power and avocado oil which nourishes and conditions the lips. With a shade range of six colors that are all in the nude family, of course I will like them all.
The Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte Lipsticks come in the following shades:
101 Cream Beige (peachy nude)
103 Warm Beige (beige nude)
105 Rosewood (mauve nude)
107 Neutral Beige (darker nude brown)
109 Praline (darker warm rose)
203 Cold Pink (medium pink with purple undertones)
I swear, every time I test out a new liquid lipstick formula, I say, yes this is the most comfortable liquid lipstick out there. Companies are improving formulas and these days you can really wear a liquid lipstick that is long-lasting but also comfortable and doesn’t dry your lips.
I like that MUFE released a line of all nude shades. Nude lipsticks are my go-to’s when it comes to my every day lip choice. This collection features six nudes and neutrals and I’m happy to say that I like them all.
The wand applicator of the MUFE Artist Liquid Matte Lipsticks is the right length and shape that it makes application super easy and quick. Formula wise, these have a whipped formula that feels lightweight but also packs a good even pigment. With one swipe, you get full and even coverage but the formula doesn’t dry very fast so you have time to go back and correct any unevenness.
As soon as the liquid lipstick dries, it doesn’t move. You can still feel that you are wearing a lipstick but they don’t suck out all the moisture from the lips. They also don’t accentuate any dryness or settle in to fine lines that much and are transfer proof.
Swatches L to R: 101 Cream Beige ,103 Warm Beige ,105 Rosewood ,107 Neutral Beige ,109 Praline ,203 Cold Pink
101 Cream Beige
103 Warm Beige
105 Rosewood
107 Neutral Beige
109 Praline
203 Cold Pink
Aren’t they all beautiful? I don’t think I can pick a favorite as I like them all. As I was doing the swatches I noticed that while you are applying, the color look lighter but they darken as soon as they set and dry. So the shades might look light in the tube but in reality they are darker. It also all depends of the pigmentation of your lips and of course skin tone.
If you are someone who like to try liquid lipsticks and don’t want to deal with the dryness, the Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte Lipsticks are a great option. Since the formula is so comfortable to wear I would wear these on the daily which doesn’t happen with liquid lipsticks. A big thumbs up from me!
