If you happen to be an 80’s child you probably collected these colorful and kinda creepy looking little trolls that all had crazy and fun colored looking hair. Well MAC decided to release a limited edition collection inspired by the little dolls and they did a great job with the products color selection.
The packaging of the collection is super fun and colorful and almost reminds me of kids makeup but the products I received to test out are actually all quite wearable shades.
The MAC Good Luck Trolls Collection is silly as the creatures themselves. The collection consists of colorful single eyeshadows, glitters, crazy lipstick shades, shimmery lip glosses, beauty powders and colored hairsprays.
The products that I received for testing purposes include:
MAC Good Luck Trolls Beauty Powder in Glow Rida (beige iridescent powder)
MAC Good Luck Trolls Eyeshadow in Paradisco (bright pinkycoral with pearl in frost finish)
MAC Good Luck Trolls Lipstick in Sushi Kiss (midtone coral cream in satin finish)
MAC Good Luck Trolls Lipglass in Bubble Butt (magenta with fine pink and blue glitter)
The MAC Good Luck Trolls Beauty Powder in Glow Rida is a beauty powder that’s tinted and has a touch of pearl. It can be used as a subtle highlighter, a blush for lighter skin tones and all over the face if you like to add a touch of glow to your face. If you’re in to subtle highlighters this is a good one to try.
The MAC Good Luck Trolls Eyeshadow in Paradisco reminds me a lot of the permanent MAC shade in Expensive Pink, it has the same pinkycoral hues with gold shimmer. I love these kind of shades for summer as they’re great all over the lid shades and go so well with a little tan.
The lipstick shade that I tested in Sushi Kiss is part of Mac’s permanent line, just packaged in the limited edition Good Luck Trolls packaging which is super fun and colorful. The shade is also a perfect shade for summer and since it comes in satin finish, very comfortable to wear.
And last the MAC Good Luck Trolls Lipglass in Bubble Butt, a fun magenta with some shimmer. I know this shade is not going to be everybody’s cup of tea but it’s a fun shade to have in my collection just in case I like to add some sparkle to my lips. The shade applies pretty sheer on the lips so it’s not as intense as it appears in the tube.
