The Lorac Pro Palette includes 16 shadows, half are matte the other half are shimmery, plus a mini size of the Lorac Behind The Scenes eye primer. All of the shades are really pigmented and applied over the primer that it comes with last all day. This is a perfect palette for beginners as it comes with variety of colors. The colors lean to the warmer side, but that’s how I like my shadows to be. If you like more cooler toned shadows you can check out the new Lorac Pro 2, it has the same quality as the original and the same price.
The packaging is very sleek, it has that rubbery feeling, the only down side is that it gets dirty really fast. It’s very thin and compact so it’s great for travel.
The top shadows are all matte and the bottom shadows are shimmer so you pretty much have everything you need for a day to day use. The shimmery shades can be applied dry or wet, you can apply them wet if you would like a more metallic finish. Some of the matte shades can be a little powdery so be careful when you put your brush on them as they get a lot of color payoff. To make sure you don’t get any fall out you can tap the brush before you apply the shadow on your eyelid.
All in all I really like this palette. I think this is going to be my go to palette for travel as it doesn’t take much space and it looks pretty sturdy.
The Lorac Pro Palette is available at ulta.com for $42.
