The Kat Von D Metal Crush eyeshadows are described as an eyeshadow with maximum pigment and extreme long wear. When I saw that these single eyeshadows launched I straight went for the bronze shade and picked up Synergy.
When I swatched the eyeshadow on my hand I was amazed by the pigment and texture. These feel so creamy to the touch, almost like a cream to powder eyeshadow and their pigmentation is beyond.
After testing out Synergy I received two additional shades from the KVD team, the shades in Paranoid*(metallic cobalt) and Static Age*(metallic silver). The two shades are equally beautiful and pigmented as Synergy. I would probably not wear them on their own as I do with Synergy but they’re great for using the as a pop of color for the lower lash line.
The Metal Crush eyeshadow line has 11 available shades and most are bright and bold shades. I think the most wearable everyday neutral shades are Synergy (metallic bronze), Doce (metallic copper), Trasher (metallic gold) and Raw Power (metallic mahogany) which is on my list to buy. They still have a high impact but you can wear them if you’re in to neutral makeup and not feel overwhelmed.
Swatches L to R: Static Age, Synergy, Paranoid
The swatches were done with only one swipe so you can see how much pigment these pack. What I love about these eyeshadows is the finish, they have a metallic finish with an almost wet look, especially if you apply them wet they’re like liquid gold on your eyes.
Have you tried the Kat Von D Metal Crush eyeshadows? What’s your favorite shade?
