While I was browsing the H&M store in Rome I stumbled upon the new beauty line that they recently launched and that was not available yet in the US. They had testers of all the products so I began my swatch fest.
I was surprised by the high quality. Everything that I swatches on my hand felt so smooth and buttery. So after swatching a ton of products I settled with some cheek, eye and lip products.
The H&M Beauty section has everything, from different types of foundations to eye and lip products and even body care.
The packaging of all products looks and photographs really well. It’s sleek gold and black packaging with a glossy finish. The material that they used is mostly plastic so don’t expect a heavy feeling and luxurious product but for the price they did a great job with the packaging.
Now on the products that I picked up. I picked up the following:

Every single product that I picked up feels and performs really nice. Both eyeshadows are very soft and pigmented and don’t feel powdery at all. I used them with and without primer and both times they performed really well.
The bronzer in Sunrise Glow is more of a summery bronzer since it’s very warm and gives a nice glow to the face. They do have other shades that are matte and more on the cooler side that would be great for fall.
I picked up a blush that’s more universal so I can wear it all year long. The shade in Rosy Brown is just that, a natural rosy shade with a touch of sheen. It literally goes with every look and lipstick.
The three lip products are also very neutral and every day shades. The lip liner in Choc Therapy is a that dark browny chocolate shade that everybody loves. It reminds me of MAC Whirl a lot by color and also by the texture of the lip liner.
In A Nutshell and Heyday are both neautral shades, the first is a classic lighter nude with pink undertones and perfect for every day and Heyday is a darker browny nude that’s right on trend. Both shades are very creamy and they give a straight on pigment so you only need one swipe to cover your lips.

The H&M Beauty line is already available on their website and I’m guessing it will be available in stores soon. I checked my local H&M and they still didn’t have the displays but I’m hoping that will happen soon because I’m itching to try more products. Also when I was looking to link the products I I noticed that some of the shades were not available online.
All in all H&M did a great job with the packaging and the quality of the makeup. The prices are affordable and for the quality that you get they’re a steal.
