I have a constant problem with my lips, I have combination to oily skin but somehow my lips are dry like the desert. I have to constantly moisturize my lips otherwise I get that tight uncomfortable feeling and my lips start to peel, I know not cute :).
First of all you need a lip scrub to get rid of the dead skin and make your lips nice and smooth. My choice is Lush Mint Julips. I love sugar scrubs and this one also has peppermint so I like that it gives a tingling effect . The lip scrub tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream and you can actually taste the scrub since it’s made of all natural ingredients. Just be careful not to get your wet fingers in it cause it’s made of sugar so it will harden. The Lush Mint Julips is available for $9.95.
I talked about the Nuxe Reve De Miel in my September favorites so you know that this is my favorite lip balm slash lip treatment. I haven’t found anything as good as this so this will be a repurchase when I run out.
The Soap & Glory A Good Kisser Lip Moisture Balm has mango butter, apricot butter, lingonberry oil and pomegranate extract. It’s a long wearing lip balm that’s a little bit sticky and gives your lips shine so it looks like you are actually wearing a lipgloss. The only complain that I have is that it comes in a pot, it’s not that hygienic when you’re out and about but other than that it’s a nice everyday lip balm that smells yummy. It’s available in Sephora for $10.
