Giorgio Armani is a brand that I haven’t explored much. I’ve tried the very popular Luminous Silk Foundation which I love. Recently I’ve been also enjoying the newer Maestro Glow Nourishing Fusion Makeup (a great light base for dry skin) and now I also have couple of more bits that I’ve been using.
I received some eye products from the brand from Influenster probably three months ago and I also decided to get two shades of the newer Lip Magnet Liquid Lipsticks. I’m a fan of liquid lipsticks so whenever I see a new launch that gets my attention, I always get couple of shades to try.
First the eye products, I got three shades of the Giorgio Armani Eye Tints. They are a long lasting liquid eyeshadow that promises 16 hours of smudge proof and crease proof formula. As a fan of cream and liquid eyeshadows I was excited when I received these. I like a good cream or liquid eyeshadow for doing quick every day eye looks.
The shades that I got are in:
12 Gold Ashes ( a shimmery champagne)
21 Fur Smoke (cool toned brown in matte finish)
24 Nude Smoke (mid-tone beige in matte finish)
All three shades are super pigmented and blend nicely either using fingers or a brush. They have a long doe foot applicator which makes placement very easy. I didn’t notice a difference in the wear in both the matte and the shimmer shades. They both wear really well without creasing or flaking. I don’t wear makeup for 16 hours but I can say that they last a good 8 hour day of wear.
Nude Smoke makes for a great base for any powder eyeshadows. Since Fur Smoke is a darker brown shade, you can create an easy brown smoky eye with one swipe. Gold Ashes is a beautiful champagne shade that makes for a great all over the lid shade or as a inner corner highlight.

I also got the Eccentrico Mascara in Obsidian Black. This is a volumizing mascara that provides good lash separation and long lasting results. For my lashes, it provides both volume and length. I have long lashes but they are straight so I need a mascara that can keep a curl which this one does. It doesn’t flake or smudge on me and you can build it up without any caking.
The Armani Lip Magnets were a very exciting release. They promise to be a long wearing liquid lipstick that is comfortable to wear. It provides a weightless feel with a thin formula that provides twice as much pigment as regular lipstick.
The line has 18 shades and I decided to pick up two that looked more on the neutral side. I picked up the shades in 506 Fusion (medium pink mauve) and 507 Garconne (mauve berry).
Formula wise, they have a thin liquid formula that packs excellent pigment. The short pointed applicator makes precise application very easy. You get enough product to get full on pigment with one swipe. The liquid lipstick doesn’t dry super fast so you have time to go back and build up or fix any mistakes. It also doesn’t dry the way that it sucks all the moisture out of your lips which makes them very comfortable to wear.
I find that these are not 100% transfer proof but they transfer just a tiny bit which is no big deal when you have a liquid lipstick that wear beautifully.
The only complain or wish that I have is for more neutral and nude shades. Both shades that I got are still neutral but I think they are bolder shades to be worn on every day basis (at least for me).
