BeautyFix is a monthly beauty subscription box that focuses on professional skin and hair care products. The Dermstore team was nice enough to send me their August box for me to try and give my thoughts on it.
The August BeautyFix box focused on helping us finding a simple but customized solutions for breakouts. The box includes the following products:
Paula’s Choice Clear Regular Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment (full size) – Benzoyl peroxide balances oil production to combat blemishes and prevent new ones from forming.
Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash (deluxe travel size) – Soft micro beads in this gel cleanser gently exfoliate dead skin while dissolving excess oil.
Patchology Falshmasque Facial Sheet – Exfoliate (1 sheet, usual packet comes with 8) – Lactic Acid and moisturizing aloe vera refine and hydrate complexion in a luxurious sheet mask.
Glytone Mild Gel Wash (deluxe travel size) – Glycolic acid lifts away dead skin to reveal a clear complexion with improved texture and tone.
Medicell Labs Advanced Redness Relief Hydrating Cream (full size) – Aloe vera, chamomile and rose hip oil calms inflammation and soothes irritation for healthy and balanced skin tone.
Smartfx Smarteye Wrinkle Lift (full size) – Micro-fillers plump and fill in fine lines while light-reflecting particles blur the appearance of dark circles.
Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo (deluxe travel size) – An amino acid-keratin complex that thickens and strengthens while peppermint oil stimulates circulation to remove hormonal toxins that may lead to hair loss.
Keranique Volumizing Keratin Conditioner (deluxe travel size) – Nourishing keratin conditions and fortifies fine and thinning hair to help retain its fulness.
Alterna Daily Densifying Foam (full size) – Helps save up to 1300 strands a month. Amino acids and algae extracts strengthen your roots so new hair resists falling out.
All products in the box are either full size or deluxe travel size. The products are also professional grade and spa exclusives that are hard to get. The total value of the box comes out over $170 and the monthly subscription is only $24.95.
The Alterna Daily Densifying Foam ($36), Smartfx Smarteye Wrinkle Lift($60), Medicell Redness Relief Hydrating Cream($60) and Paula’s Choice Clear Regual Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment($17) are all full size and total up to $173 so I think you get a great deal with only paying $24.95.
All products that came in the box are really nice. If I had to pick my favorites I would go with the Patchology sheet mask, the Smartfx Smarteye Wrinkle lift and the Alterna Daily Densifying Foam.
