I have to admit that I’m a neutrals kinda gal. For every day use I reach for the no fuss eyeshadows that I can apply pretty quickly in the morning. I mostly reach for neutral shades that I can pair with every lip color and not think about it.
This is where Burberry Wet & Dry Silk eyeshadow in Pale Barley comes in. It’s a pale cool toned brown with wheaten gold sheen. I would describe this as a pale taupe brown with enough sheen to make your eyes pop.
This is one of those shades that doesn’t look very appealing in the pan but when applied it gives the perfect sheen to the eyes that everyone can wear. The sheen is not shimmer so it’s great for daytime looks but I can see myself wearing this at night too just maybe layered with a more sparkly cream eyeshadow, something like By Terry Misty Rock.
Burberry Wet & Dry is one of the only eyeshadows that I can wear without a primer cause you don’t get any fallout and the eyeshadow sticks pretty well without using one.
