I recently got the Pixi Glow Tonic, when I spotted it in Target I just had to get it. I’ve heard so many beauty bloggers talk about it so I’m pretty excited to test it out and see if it works for my skin. I’ll have a separate blog post about it as soon as I test it out but now I wanted to talk about the Plum Quartz eyeshadow palette and the Makeup Setting Mist by Pixi.
The Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Plum Quartz caught my eye because of the beautiful rosy toned eyeshadows but also for the dark rose gold and plum shades. I haven’t tried much from Pixi so I figured I should start with her eyeshadow palettes. The Mesmerizing Mineral Palettes are in a pressed form and as the name applies they’re mineral eyeshadows. I like how she combined the shades to go from lighter to darker and I think she did a great job with the shade selection as every shade compliments each other.
The eyeshadows feel very smooth to the touch and are pretty pigmented. They don’t kick any powder when you put your brush in the pan so you don’t get any fallout. Since they’re mineral eyeshadows if you want to get more pigment you can also wet your brush and use the eyeshadows wet. That way you will get more pigment and also the shimmery shades will have a metallic finish.
The Makeup Fixing Mist is another great products from Pixi. I got this bottle on a whim while browsing my local Target and it turned out to be a great fixing mist. I like to spritz my face with this mist before I put my primer and also after I’m finished with applying my makeup.
One thing to be aware is that if you try and spritz this mist closer to your face you will get product in one spot so the further you have your hand the better, otherwise it will wet your face. That’s the only thing I wish was better, the mist is not as fine as my higher end fixing sprays.
The Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist prolongs my makeup but also makes my face looking fresh. After spraying this I think it adds a touch of glow to my face so it’s great when you’re using a matte foundation.

Both products are super nice and great budget buys. Pixi products are pricier than your regular drugstore brand but I think that’s why you’re getting higher quality products. Still for the price and the quality, I think they’re a steal.
Now on my wish list are the Pixi Glow Mist and Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Copper Peach. I think those are my next products to test out.
