I love when affordable makeup is as good as high end. These pigments are as good as MAC pigments but with a price of $6.99 each. You get 1.5 grams of product which will last you for a lifetime. They’re highly pigmented, you’ll see by the swatches that I took with no primer and you can also use them wet for a metallic finish.
They’re cruelty and talc free so that’s a plus to the affordable price. I got three of the 17 available colors and I’m planning to pick up more since these are such a steal.
Afterglow is a champagne color. I use this pigment for inner corner highlight and as a cheek highlight. It’s such a nice everyday color, I can’t get enough.
Utopia is a duochrome glitter pigment. It’s antique gold so when applied wet it has a foil like finish. When applying dry you have to use a sticky base as you get a lot of fallout. In my opinion this pigment looks the best when applied wet. It is very similar to MAC Reflects Antique Gold.
Insomnia is my favorite of the bunch. It has a duochrome effect so the color depends on how much you blend it. It’s a dark chocolate pigment with blue/teal reflects. This is a spot on dupe for the MAC pigment in Blue Brown.
The pigments are available only online at makeupgeek.com and the good news is they ship internationally.
