The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal is a creamy powder luminizer that reflects the light and gives you natural radiance. The shade is described as a golden opal pearl. It’s very pigmented so you have to use it light handed, a little goes a long way.
The packaging is really sturdy so this will be great for travel. You get 0.28oz of product that will last you for a lifetime :). I like to use a fan brush to apply it, first starting lightly and then building it up cause it’s very pigmented so you don’t want to go overboard and emphasize your pores. It’s pretty easy to apply, you just need to be aware to apply it lightly.
I’ve read that this is a dupe for the famous MAC Whisper of Gilt which was limited edition. I don’t have Whisper of Gilt but I’ve checked out swatches online and it seems pretty close to the Becca Opal.
I do like this luminizer as it blends really well on to the skin and you can always build it up if you want a heavy highlight. The texture is really neat, almost feels like a cream mixed with powder. You can always use it as an eye shadow if you like that shiny look or just as an inner corner highlight to brighten your eyes.
