theBalm Cosmetics is Paraben and Cruelty Free makeup line. They have a complete line of makeup, skincare, hair care and nail polish.
My first purchase from theBalm brand was the Mary-Lou Manizer, I purchased the much talked about highlighter just to see what the fuss was about and boy was everybody right. After that my love grew for theBalm products and there was no stopping, just to say I’ve collected a few makeup items :).
BalmShelter is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 18. I use it when I don’t feel like having a full face of makeup, it has SPF and it’s very moisturizing so it’s perfect for a day to day use.
The Nude’tude palette is a must have if you’re a neutrals girl. All of the shades are nicely pigmented, they blend like a dream and you get every color that you need to create every day looks or go bold with a smoky eye.
theBalm products are all really nice but I think the stars of the brand are their Lou Manizers. I own all three shades and I love them all. You get Mary-Lou Manizer who’s a champagne gold shade, Betty-Lou Manizer, a bronze shade and Cindy Lou-Manizer, a peachy pink shade. The great thing about these is that you can use them both as highlighters and shadows. The bronze shade is more of a bronzer for me, I use it to warm up my face and get that summer glow. The other two are perfect for a cheek and inner corner highlight to brighten the face.
I recently picked up the Bahama Mama bronzer, it’s perfect for contouring and it’s very pigmented so a little goes a long way. The two blushes I own are FratBoy which is a coral pink blush that gives you the perfect flush of color on your cheeks and Hot Mama, a peachy pink blush with gold shimmer that’s perfect for summer.
In the lip department they recently launched the Read My Lips lip glosses, they have eleven color and I picked up the two more neutral ones. They’re not fully pigmented lip glosses but they’re also not sheer, they have the perfect in between pigmentation for those easy natural makeup looks.
I love the slick packaging of their theBalm Girls lipsticks, also whoever is naming the products is a genius, the names are so cute :). The color payoff on these is great, they’re very pigmented and slide nicely when applied. Their texture is on the drier side so you have to make sure you moisturize before application.
The Put A Lid On It eye primer is a quick drying eye primer and works great in keeping your eye makeup budge proof.
theBalm Schwing liquid eyeliner is a dark black eyeliner that dries to a matte finish. It has a felt tip applicator which makes it very easy with application.
