bareMinerals Bounce & Blur Collection features two eyeshadow palettes and four blushes in a very unique bouncy cream to powder formula. I was instantly drawn to this collection because of the formula. The eyeshadows and blushes are described as finger friendly with a sheer to buildable formula. So basically, they give the look of a cream product but are easier to work with (especially for someone who’s not used to using cream products).
As I mentioned before, there are two eyeshadow palettes. Dawn features cooler toned shades and shades that are great for creating easy smoky eyes. Dusk is the warm palette of the two and my favorite. Both palettes are neutral and make for great every day palettes.

The formula of the Bounce & Blur Eyeshadow Palettes feels creamy to the touch but they perform like powder shadows. The lighter shades are quite sheer and make for good shadow toppers. I also like them all over the lid for a glossy eye look. Since the shimmer is very fine, they appear glowy vs shimmery on the eyes. They also have blurring properties so they don’t accentuate any texture on the eyes.
There are two shades in the Dawn Palette (the coppery red and chocolate shade) that feel the same as the blushes to the touch. They are so creamy and buttery and have more pigment than the rest of the shades.
I like to use these with my fingers for easy everyday looks but they also work well with a brush. You can definitely build up the darker shades if you want a more intense look but, with one layer, you get a sheer wash of color.
And now, to my favorite part of the collection, the blushes. If you are a long time reader or you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love a good cream blush. Well, the bareMinerals Bounce & Blur Blushes give the appearance of a cream blush but they can be used as your usual powder blush.
There are four shades in the line in: Coral Cloud (fresh peach), Pink Sky (poppy pink), Mauve Sunrise (rosy mauve) and Blurred Buff (bronzed rose).
The Bounce & Blur Blushes have such a unique formula. They feel like a cream to the touch but are not sticky. It’s almost like a silky feeling when you run your fingers in the pan. When swatched on the hand, they appear shimmery, but when applied on the cheeks, they just give a beautiful glowy look.
I like to use my usual blush brush for application and I find these quite pigmented. They are very easy to blend and give a blurred effect on the skin. I also really like the shade selection. Coral Cloud makes for my perfect summer shade and Blurred Buff has been on repeat since I got it. On the cheeks, it gives a burned orange bronze look which I love wearing during the fall.
Bottom line, the Bounce & Blur Collection is another great one from the brand. I feel like the eyeshadows are great for anyone that likes their makeup on the natural side. As for the blushes, I love them! The formula is very unique and I like that they give the same look as a cream blush would give on the skin. Also if you have mature skin or texture and still would like to wear a glowy blush, these are a great option because of the blurring properties.
