The strobing makeup trend is in full force! I know highlighters are left mainly for the warmer months but I don’t think the strobing trend is going anywhere.
I use a highlighter on daily basis. The type of highlighter that I’m going to use depends of the makeup look for that day. I’ve basically tried every formula that’s out there or so I thought I did before I tried the Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura Beam*. The Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura Beam has the most unique formula that I’ve ever came across. It has a gel like consistency that’s pretty thick and when blended out it gives you a glowy almost wet look.
Description from Sephora’s website:
Tony Moly’s multitasking Luminous Goddess Aura Beam creates a luminious glow with its real pearl powder. Enriched with collagen and natural oils that are known for their antiaging and hydrating benefits, it can be used alone or mixed with your foundation. Perfect for every skintone, this powder nourishes skin with argan, almond, and jojoba natural oils and extracts.
The Aura Beam can be used as a primer before you put your foundation if you want more hydration and dewiness to your base or you can also mix it with foundation for all over glow. You can also just dab it on the tops of your cheeks for a subtle wet glow.
A little goes a long way with this product. If you apply too much it will probably feel too sticky on the cheeks since the product doesn’t dry down to a matte finish.
The product is designed to give you that famous Korean dewy look that doesn’t have any shimmer, it’s just pure glow.
If you have dry skin you need this! The Aura Beam hydrates the skin while giving you a dewy look so dry skin girls would love this. I have combo skin and I can still use this product as a primer or I can mix it with my foundation and it doesn’t make me more oily through the day but if you’re oily I think the product will be too dewy.

All in all I really like the Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura Beam. It’s a different product to try than your regular liquid highlighter and the finish that it gives is more subtle and looks more natural on the skin so perfect for daytime wear.
