BEAUTY,

L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation

I’ve been a big fan of L’oreal foundations for years. I think my first ever foundation that I purchased was the True Match followed by the True Match Lumi and it didn’t stop there. Their recent launch the True Match Lumi Cushion foundation has been my go to drugstore foundation, it’s super light so I especially love it for the warmer months. The Infallible Pro Matte foundation has also been a favorite but on days when I need more coverage and a longer lasting base.

So naturally when I saw that they’re launching an Infallible Pro Glow foundation I ran to my computer and ordered a shade that thankfully matches me perfectly. The L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation hasn’t officially launched but I was able to get it on Amazon and I know some people found it on Walmart’s website. According to L’oreal the foundation will be available at every drugstore by the end of the month.

The L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation has the same packaging as the matte version, it comes in a tube which makes it very travel friendly. The foundation is described as a medium coverage foundation with a radiant finish and 24h lasting power. The formula of the foundation feels very light on the skin, it almost feels like you’re not wearing any foundation which I’m all about.

With two pumps I was able to achieve medium coverage that looked very natural on the skin, didn’t sink in to pores or fine lines and also didn’t feel tacky to the touch so if you’re on the dry side you don’t even have to set it with powder.

The finish is radiant but not overly dewy or glowy, it just looks like you’re having a natural glow from within. Compared to the True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation the finish is less dewy but still manages to give you a nice natural glow to the skin.

The foundation has SPF15 which was not the case with the Pro Matte version but still doesn’t give out a white cast when you use flash photography. I’m guessing since the foundation is advertised as air light and glowy it’s aimed for the warmer months so that’s why they added the SPF.

The L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation is advertised as a foundation for normal to dry skin but I think since it’s not overly dewy it would also work for combo skin, you just have to make sure to use powder on the places where you get oily.

The shade in 204 matches my light to medium skin perfectly. The shade is neutral so not overly yellow or pink, it just has the perfect warm tone. For shade comparison I use the shade in w3 from the True Match Lumi Cushion foundation and 105 from the Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. My summer shade from the Infallible Pro Matte is 107 but I use that shade when I’m quite tanned.

My final thoughts are that I love the L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation. The fact that you don’t feel it on the skin sold me right away plus the natural glowy finish and the lasting power makes this the perfect foundation for the summer months. The coverage is medium but the foundation is also buildable to full and it will still feel and look very natural on the skin.

If you didn’t get along with the Infallible Pro Matte foundation I suggest trying the Pro Glow version, especially if you have normal to dry skin you will love it.

The L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation will be available in 12 shades and by the swatches I saw they’re all on the lighter side so hopefully they’ll expand the shade range.
