My love for Charlotte Tilbury makeup started with the purchase of her Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette and since then my collection keeps growing. So far I like everything from her makeup line, starting from the luxurious packaging ending with the actual product.
So when a package from Charlotte Tilbury arrived at my door I was so excited and literally jumped from joy :). There they were the Filmstar On The Go * palettes with their wonderful shiny rose gold packaging.
The Filmstar On The Go palettes contain two products, a cream eyeshadow and a cream lip & cheek product. Charlotte Tilbury created these palettes for easy and on the go application. First of all let’s talk about how wonderful the names are, they all come from popular movie classics.
The palette feels the same as the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette but with smaller packaging. It has a big mirror which is pretty nice for on the go, I keep the palette that I use for the day in my bag for touchups and the mirror is a plus. The consistency of the cream eyeshadows is very nice, they blend easy and stay put through the day. They’re all metallic shades and are on the sheer side but you can build them up if you want more pigment. I use them with a primer like every eyeshadow and they don’t budge.
The cream lip and cheek product is my favorite part of the palette. It’s very rare to find a lips & cheek product that actually works for both. The consistency of the product is not sticky and doesn’t feel wet when applied on the cheeks. I like to apply and blend this with my fingers for a more natural look but you can also use a stippling brush if you don’t want to use your hands.

My final verdict is that I really like the palettes, they’re great for those days when you want a more natural makeup and they’re very easy to use. All the shades are very wearable and will suit most skin tones. I also think the palettes will be perfect for summer cause they feel pretty light on the skin and give a nice glow to the face.
Have you tried any of the Filmstar On The Go palettes?
