Until now the only skincare product I’ve tried from Elizabeth Arden is the well famous 8h cream and that has become my holy grail product when it comes to treating dryness on the skin and lips. I was super excited when I got the chance to test out one of their best selling products, the Superstar Skin Renewal Booster.
The Elizabeth Arden Superstar Skin Renewal Booster* is a serum that has Probiotics Complex that strengthens the skin’s natural ability to repair any damage and restore a brighter and more youthful complexion.
Enriched with sea fennel and flaxseed extracts to maintain the skin’s barrier, whilst glasswort extract locks in moisture and reduces water loss in the surface of skin. The versatile booster can be used before a moisturiser to increase the effectiveness of skincare products or as a refreshing serum. E.N.
I’ve been using the Superstar Skin Renewal Booster for almost a month now just in the morning and before my moisturizer and I can say that I’ve noticed some difference in my skin. My skin tone feels and looks more even and my complexion looks brighter.
The serum has a scent which is very pleasant and doesn’t linger after application. I apply the serum after I cleanse my skin and apply my face mist but before my moisturizer. After application the serum sinks in very fast in to the skin and doesn’t feel tacky.
The gel like texture doesn’t feel greasy and feels very light so you can easily wear the serum under foundation. What I like about this serum is that it increases the effectiveness of skincare products that you put after, so either a moisturizer for hydration or anti-aging the ingredients will work better if you use them with the serum.
I recommend the Elizabeth Arden Superstar Skin Renewing Booster for people who suffer with texture, uneven skin tone and even people with damaged skin. It’s an all around great serum to use on it’s own or in combination with other skincare products.
