August has been a really good month for me. Between discovering and testing new beauty bits and hiking every weekend with my family I’ve been really happy.
It’s almost end of the summer and I’m so excited for fall. I haven’t experienced proper fall weather for eight years now since Miami Beach doesn’t do fall but now I can’t wait for the fall weather in Colorado. Scarves and boots here I come!
Now on to my beauty favorites, here are some of the beauty products that I’ve been loving through the month of August:
Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer – I think I’ve mentioned this primer in two posts now and if you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen it in almost every picture so you know how much I love this primer. It’s been my go to primer since I got it and I’m sticking to it.
Charlotte TilburyXNorman Parkinson collection specifically the 1975 Red lipstick and Colour of Youth cream blush. If I could I would include the whole collection in this months favorites, I just loved everything for the collection. 1975 Red is an orange red, the red that I prefer and love. Her matte line is very comfortable to wear and one of my favorite formula of lipsticks. The Colour of Youth cream blush is beautiful! It gives a nice healthy flush to the cheeks, blends nicely and looks very natural on the skin, like you have a natural rosy peach flush and you just came from the beach. Love it!
Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Lip Gel in Anais – It’s a beautiful light nude with brown undertones. The New Nudes line is definitely not sheer, they actually pack a lot of pigment and are very hydrating and comfortable to wear.
Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom – My go to lip balm! If you have dry lips you need this! I’ve been applying it every night before I go to bed and it has helped a lot. The scent of coconut is really nice, not overpowering and smells very natural.
Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder – First the packaging of the compact is gorgeous, feels very heavy and well made. The powder is the perfect cool toned contouring powder that mimics shadows in the most natural of ways. It blends really nicely and never looks patchy.
YSL Black Opium – Has notes of coffee accord, orange blossom, cedar wood essence and patchouli essence. If you like spicy but also sweet scents you will love this. There’s also notes of vanilla which contribute to the sweetness of the perfume.
Nude Skincare Progenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil – It’s been my go to face oil in my nighttime routine. It has kept my skin blemish free and I can notice that it also helps with dark spot removal. My skin has never looked better.
