I have combo skin but I don’t like a matte face so I’m always looking for good highlighting products. I prefer my highlight more on the beige golden side, for my medium complexion I think those suit me the best.
I also like illuminating primers, the one I use and recommend is the L’oreal Magic Lumi primer. You can use it to prime your face or just as a cream highlighter for the cheeks.
Liquid highlighters are a pretty cool product cause you can mix them with your foundation, just add a pump to your foundation and it will give you a nice luminous finish or you can dab a little on top of your cheeks for a nice highlight. I like the Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer cause of the beige golden finish.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette is great for all over glow to the face, I use the first shade all over my face, It gives a natural glow within look without any shimmer. I also use the middle shade for a natural highlight on the cheeks. The shade is very subtle and it’s perfect for day time use.
I use the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal when I want a more intense highlight. The formula is very creamy and pigmented so you only need a little bit. It’s a beautiful highlighter that gives the perfect golden goddess cheeks.
For eyes I always come back to my MAC pigment in Tan. It goes really well with the glowy theme and it’s great for an easy look. I just apply a tiny bit on my eyelids for a quick every day look.
The perfect highlighter for me comes in a palette, the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette. I love this highlighter cause I can use it during the day and it will look gorgeous on daylight but also use it at night, I apply a touch more and get a nice glowy cheek.
