Too Faced is a brand that I haven’t experimented with that much. I only have the Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette which I quite like and some shades from the Melted lipsticks but other than that I haven’t tried a lot of their products.
I’m not sure why I haven’t, maybe because I think they cater to a younger audience since their packaging is always so cute and bubbly. But since trying the Too Faced Love Flush blushes I’m ready to try more.
The Too Faced Love Flush line has six shades that range from a pretty nude to some darker fun colors. I picked up two shades that I liked the most, the shade in Baby Love and I will always love you. Oh and yes they’re all named by famous love songs :).
Baby Love is described as a soft dusty nude with fine gold sparkle. This is one of those shade that everyone will love. It’s a nude neutral shade that’s very similar to the well loved Tarte Exposed blush, the only difference I think it’s the shimmer part. I love this shade because you can basically wear it with every look. It goes with every lipstick shade and every eyeshadow.
I will always love you is described as gilded peach. It’s a warm peach with orange undertones and gold shimmer. This shade has more shimmer than Baby Love which I kinda like since it’s a summer shade and I love glowy blushes for summer. It goes very nicely with a warm smoky eye but I also like wearing it on my natural days just to add some glow to my cheeks.
Both shades are pigmented but not that pigmented that you need to be careful with your brush. They also don’t emphasize pores and blend nicely to the skin. They’re advertised as long wearing blushes that last up to 16 hours. Now I haven’t tested them for 16 hours because I never wear makeup that long but they lasted 8 hours on my skin and looked nice at the end of the day.
The packaging is also very nice, feels sturdy and the compact is pretty thin so I think this would make a great blush for travel. I’m not really in to heart shaped packaging but surprisingly I don’t mind these. At the end what’s more important is the product that’s inside right?
