I recently picked up three new products from Marc Jacobs. I wanted to try his new Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquers and I also have never tried his Twinkle Pop Eye Sticks and as a big fan of cream eyeshadows I just felt the need to test them out since I love his line.
I picked up two shades of the Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquers in Pretty Thing (described as a muted rose) and Moon Glow ( a soft pink nude).
The formula of the lip lacquers is high shine as the name applies and make your lips look very juicy and glossy. The shades that I have are pigmented enough to be worn on their own but also not that pigmented so they can be used over lipsticks. They have a mint scent that’s not overpowering and slight stickiness but don’t feel tacky on the lips. I think they’re the perfect formula of a lipgloss for girls who like a lot of shine.
From the Twinkle Pop Eye Sticks I picked up the shade in Au Revoir described as pewter shimmer, it’s a beautiful shimmery taupe shade. I figured I should switch things up and stay away from my regular bronze shades and try something new. The Twinkle Pop Eye Sticks can be used as eyeshadows or as eyeliner. They’re a cream formula that’s very shimmery and almost appear to have a chrome effect on the lids. What’s interesting about them is that they have a cooling effect when you apply them on the lids which I haven’t experienced with any other cream eyeshadows. The sparkle is intense and almost looks like liquid metal on your eyes. The eyeshadow lasted all day on me without creasing or budging and I used it without a primer.

Both products get a big thumbs up from me. When it comes to Marc Jacobs Beauty I think he does everything right, from the beautiful packaging to the high quality products. Highly recommend!
