I haven’t tried much from Laura Mercier so I decided to pick up some products to test them out since I’ve heard great things about her line. I decided on the Foundation Primer in Radiance and two lip products.
The Laura Mercier Foundation Primer-Radiance is a lightweight creamy gel that illuminates and creates a soft focus on your skin that masks any imperfections and creates a radiant finish. It’s a primer that leaves you with a glowy look but doesn’t contain any shimmer.
It’s meant for all skin types and it works great with my combo skin, doesn’t make me oily through the day, it just gives me a natural glow to my skin. The primer has a light golden tint that makes my skin look less dull and more radiant.
It’s one of the better radiant primers I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot. I got the smaller tube and I’m definitely getting the bigger one when I use this up.
The other two products that I picked up are of course lip products. The first shade is from her Creme Smooth Lip Colour line in the shade Dulce De Leche, a beautiful midtone brown nude. The texture of these lipsticks is very creamy and lightweight and they have a medium to full pigmentation. It’s just very comfortable to wear and for a cream formula it lasts pretty well through the day.
The other lipstick that I got is from her Lip Parfait line in Raspberry Ripple, described as a pink mauve. The formula of these lipsticks is like no other, they’re infused with butters so they’re very hydrating but also very pigmented. Usually with a hydrating lipstick you get sheer coverage but not with the Lip Parfaits. The finish of the lipstick is glossy so it looks like you’re wearing a lipgloss over top of your lipstick. I’m very impressed with these and planning on getting more shades.

All in all I really like all three products from Laura Mercier and I’m eager to try more from her line. Maybe next I’ll try one of her bases?
