The Balm Overshadows are all mineral shimmer designed to be used over shadow in order to transform your ordinary look in to a glamorous one. If you would like to add a pop of shimmer on your eyelids this is the way to go. They’re so finely milled and really soft to apply with no fallout if you use the right brush, if you don’t own any brushes you can always use your fingers to apply.
The Balm package design is so retro, I love it. The shadows have a protective lid on them so when you open them you don’t get shimmer everywhere. You just tap some product on the cap of the shadow and you’re good to go. A little bit goes a long way, for the swatches I used two little dots and you can see how pigmented they are. You can use these wet or dry. Wet if you like a rich metalic pigment or dry if you like a soft blended shimmer. The swatches below are applied dry.
You Buy, I’ll Fly is a shimmering copper. It goes on really smooth on the lid with no fall out at all. I recommend this shade for the warm shade lovers out there.
No Money, No Honey is a shimmering gold. You can use this color as a eyeshadow or as a highlighter for you face. I love the sheen that it gives, it’s the perfect summer color.
These are available on thebalm.com website for $15 each but I always buy my Balm products from hautelook.com, it’s a website that does flash sales so when The Balm brand is featured it’s usually 50% off.
