Yes I like to splurge on high end makeup but I do try to mix things up and also test out more affordable options. I think drugstore brands do very well when it comes to lip products especially recently with all the new launches, I’ve been impressed with everything I tried.
When it comes to every day lipsticks I stick with neutrals and reach for different shades of nude. I think the drugstore offers some pretty good options and shades of nudes with different formulas and finishes, you have nude lipsticks for every skin tone.
I always say if you’re on a budget and you have to splurge on just one item invest your money in a good foundation otherwise when it comes to lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner, you can find good affordable options in the drugstore.

As you can see by the description I like my nudes with a cream finish. I think that they’re more comfortable to wear plus they don’t accentuate dry lips and fade really nicely through the day. There is one matte lipstick from Maybelline in the ones I mention but those Creamy Mattes are the most comfortable matte lipstick that you will ever wear so if you want to wear a matte lipstick but can’t stand the dryness definitely check those out.
