Recently there have been some great releases in the affordable drugstore brands world. From eyeshadow palettes to cream eyeshadows, bronzers and cream products, everything has been top notch which is exciting for people who prefer budget friendly beauty products.
I’ve been testing a lot of affordable products so I wanted to share my recent loves and products that I think are worth checking out.
I have two eye products from e.l.f, their Mad for Matte eyeshadow palette which contains 10 neutral eyeshadows all in a matte finish. The quality of the eyeshadows is excellent considering the palette is only $10. The shades are all neutral and very wearable so perfect for every day wear. The second eye product is the Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow in Molten Bronze, a beautiful bronze shade that performs the same as a higher end product. It’s super pigmented and blends easy and most importantly it doesn’t crease on me.
Similar cream eyeshadow to the e.l.f Molten Brown shade is the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome in Bronze Sheen which I also love. The texture is very smooth and creamy and the eyeshadow lasts all day without creasing. These are so long lasting that you have to use an oil based eye makeup remover otherwise they will not come off.
I know summer is over but the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer will be my jam all year round. First the smell is amazing, will remind me of summer, but also the shade is perfect to be used as a bronzer but also as a contour. The formula as the name applies is like butter, so smooth and blends like a dream.
If you’re looking for warm shimmery eyeshadows with an intense metallic finish, the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Extreme Shimmer Disco Glam Shadow & Liner in Copper Nude is awesome. If you use these eyeshadows wet you’ll get an almost liquid metallic look to your eyes which is very pretty for a night out makeup.
And lastly the two shades from Pixi Beauty’s Multibalm in Sheer Sculpt and Baby Petal. These cream sticks are amazing for quick makeup looks. The cream formula is very easy to apply and also blends nicely on to the skin and the lasting power is pretty good for being a cream product. The shade in Sheer Sculpt is a perfect cool toned brown that’s great for contouring and Baby Petal is a neutral toned rosy blush that looks very natural on the skin and goes with every makeup look.
