It’s a busy season. Not only I’ve been busy with planning our Christmas party and NYE party, I’ve been also busy with blog posts. There are so many products coming out! Spring collections are rolling out as we speak so there will be a lot of testing and photography on my part. I wanted to share some products that I’m currently testing and what you can expect to see on my blog.
Some are new releases and some are new products to me.
Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation – I’m a fan of cushion foundations. I like that they’re light on the skin and provide a lot of hydration and glow. A cushion foundation from the drugstore is a pretty exciting release. I love the L’oreal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation so I’ll be curious to see how they compare. (coming out January 2017)
Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 – I’ve heard so many great things about this brand and their BB Cream. Korean beauty has taken over the beauty world. They have so many great products that are also good for you skin. I love a good light base and they’re one of my favorite to test out.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – There is so much hype on this concealer that it sells out in minutes. I got lucky and picked up two shades during the 30% sale that I though would match my skin. It supposed to have full coverage but is also creamy and crease proof. I have high hopes for this concealer.
Maybelline Strobe Liquid Illuminating Highlighter – It’s a multi tasking liquid illuminator that you can use for highlighting and also mix it with your foundation. I love a good liquid highlighter and a good affordable find. Hopefully these will end up being nice. (coming out January 2017)
Giorgio Armani Eye Tint – I have three shades that I’ve been testing for awhile now. They are liquid eyeshadows that come in matte and shimmery finish. Definitely a pricy find but they do have some unique shades that are worth checking out.
Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick – I grabbed two shades in 506 Fusion (medium pink mauve) and 507 Garconne (mauve berry). They’re described as a long-wearing liquid lipstick that feels lightweight and is comfortable to wear.
Marc Jacobs Le Marc Liquid Lip Creme – A liquid version of Marc Jacobs’s Le Marc lipsticks. They are a new release and a pretty exciting one. They come in 6 neutral shades and I picked up 2. From the packaging to the formula, these look very promising.
Nars Velvet Lip Glide – Another product that is very popular in the beauty world. It has a semi-matte finish and it’s basically a lipstick in liquid formula. These don’t dry down as other matte liquid lipsticks so they’re suppose to be very comfortable to wear.
By Terry Rouge-Expert Click Stick – A bold color of a lipstick, comfort of a lip balm and the precision of a lip pencil. Yes, please! They have a velvet finish and are available in 25 shades. I have 6 shades that I’m currently testing and I’m planning on lip and hand swatches on all.
