Marc Jacobs launched a new line of blushes called the Air Blush Soft Glow Duo. They’re powder blush duo palettes with two shades of customizable color with a radiance finish. The line has five available shades in 506 Flesh & Fantasy (ivory shimmer/goddess bronze), 502 Lines & Last Night (creamsicle/deep tangerine), 504 Kink & Kisses (pale petal/peachy rose), 500 Lush & Libido (petal pink/orchid pink) and 508 Night Fever & Hot Stuff (cherry/deep plum).
As always with every Marc Jacobs product the packaging is beautiful. It’s basically the same packaging as his contouring palette just smaller.
I picked up one shade in Flesh & Fantasy just to test out the formula before I invest in more shades and I’m happy to report that the formula is excellent.
Marc Jacobs Air Blush in Flesh & Fantasy is described as ivory shimmer/goddess bronze. It’s one of the neutral shades from the line that you can wear with every makeup look but also double up as a shimmery bronzer. The formula of the blush feels very silky to the touch and the pigmentation is very good, it’s pigmented enough so it picks up just the right amount of product and also doesn’t kick out any excess powder.
You can use the two shades individually, one as a highlighter and the other as a blush or you can customize the shade and swirl your brush more on one side or the other depending if you want more of a glow or more of a color.
The finish that the Marc Jacobs Air Blush gives is a nice radiance without emphasizing any imperfections on the skin. It gives that glow in within look without any noticeable shimmer.
