Kiko Cosmetics Midnight Siren is a limited edition collection that launched this fall. Kiko’s limited edition collection always have very special and unique packaging and the Midnight Siren is not an exception.
I picked up some products from the collection that caught my eye, some with the unique packaging and some with their shade selection. I picked up the Silk Pearl Illuminating Bronzer in Irresistible Siena, Cream Radiance Highlighter in Twilight Gold, Moon Shadow Water Infused Eyeshadow in Mysterious Chocolate, Matte Muse Lipsticks in Embellished Peony and Haughty Mauve.
The packaging of the bronzer and highlighter is amazing! Hard to store but so beautiful to put on your vanity. Both compacts have mirrors inside which you will probably not use but they’re a nice touch.
The Silk Pearl Illuminating Bronzer in Irresistible Siena is the darker shade of the two that are available. I specifically picked it up because it has a golden highlight instead of the pinky highlighter that’s in the lighter shade. The bronzer has three parts, the first is a darker matte shade, the second is a lighter warmer toned shade and the third is the beautiful golden highlighter. You can use the shades separately or you can swirl your brush and get a beautiful bronzer with a luminous finish.
The Cream Radiance Highlighter in Twilight Gold is a true champagne gold highlighter. It has a creamy texture that’s very soft but dries out to a powder. It almost feels like a hybrid, a cream to powder form. I use my fingers to apply this on tops of my cheeks and it gives me a nice subtle glow that’s daytime appropriate but you can also pack it on if you want a higher impact.
The Moon Shadow Water Infused Eyeshadow in Mysterious Chocolate is a cream eyeshadow in a stick form. I already love the cream eye sticks from Kiko’s permanent line but these are better. The formula is creamier and has less shimmer and when applied on the lids it has a cooling effect. The shade in Mysterious Chocolate is a rich chocolate brown shade with gold shimmer that’s perfect for creating a quick brown smoky eye. The eyeshadow blends really nicely and sets pretty fast so you have to be quick, but as soon as it sets it doesn’t budge.
The two shades that I picked up from the Matte Muse Lipsticks are beautiful! The formula of the Matte Muse Lipsticks is like a thicker liquid lipstick with high pigment but doesn’t completely dry like your regular liquid lipstick. Instead it feels very comfortable to wear so it’s great for people who can’t stand the dryness of a liquid lipstick but still want to try one. I got the shades in Embellished Peony (a pretty pink rose shade) and Haughty Mauve (a berry fuchsia).
Swatches L to R: Silk Pearl Illuminating Bronzer in Irresistible Siena first, second and third shade and swirled together, Cream Radiance Highlighter in Twilight Gold, Moon Shadow Water Infused Eyeshadow in Mysterious Chocolate, Matte Muse Lipstick in Embellished Peony, Matte Muse Lipstick in Haughty Mauve
The Midnight Siren collection is another hit from Kiko. I just don’t know how they do it, how do they produce such quality products with almost drugstore prices. From the packaging to the product everything is exceptional!
