If you read my blog you would know that I prefer my foundations on the lighter side, I like light to medium coverage and a natural finish. Though for special occasion I prefer a matte finish.
Since I moved to a dryer climate my skin has changed, from the extremely oily skin now it’s more normal so I can basically use every foundation out there, matte, dewy, you name it.
The Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Free* is a unique liquid to powder foundation that absorbs oil, camouflages imperfections and has a velvet matte finish.
This is your perfect foundation if you have oily skin. The foundation is oil-free, humidity proof and water-resistant. It instantly transforms in to powder as soon as you apply it to your skin and dries to a matte finish that never looks flat. And most importantly the foundation lasts all day on my skin.
Since my skin is on the normal side I use a hydrating primer just to make sure my skin is well hydrated. After applying the foundation you can immediately see that the foundation blurs out pores and imperfections. The formula is pretty liquidy and you only need a tiny bit to achieve light to medium coverage. The best part about this foundation is that I don’t need to use setting powder which never happens and I won’t get oily through the day.
The Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation is also infused with clinical levels of two powerful anti-aging ingredients, phytostem edelweiss and lavandox.
It feels very light on the skin, almost like you’re not wearing any makeup and doesn’t feels sticky or tacky to the touch. When I’m planning on wearing my makeup all day I always reach for this foundation just because I will be sure that it will last on me all day without any touchups.
If you have oily skin this foundation will be your best friend. Even if you have combo or normal skin and if you’re looking for a foundation that is long lasting and matte you should give it a go. Also this is the perfect foundation for humid climate since it’s light on the skin but also keeps you matte. Highly recommend!
