Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff* body scrub is great for removing dead skin from your body cause it’s one of those scrubs that have micro-granulates so it exfoliates pretty deep but it’s not harsh to the skin. It has a pretty nice scent and does the job with keeping my skin flake free. You can also use this to remove your old tan if you’re a self tanner user. The Cocoa Brown brand also offers self tanners that are affordable and look very natural on the skin, no orange tan here :).
The Body Shop makes my all time favorite body butters and the Wild Argan Oil line is no exception. If you need extra hydration I definitely recommend the Wild Argan Oil line. It hydrates my skin but without leaving a greasy feeling on my skin and plus it smells yummy which I didn’t expect from an Argan Oil scent. The Body Shop offers different tub sizes so if you’re not sure you can always grab a mini to test it out. Those are great for on the go, currently I have a mini mango body butter in my bag :).
I love almond scented body products. Combine that with a glaze scent and you get the perfect yummy scent that I can’t get enough. The Philosophy Almond Glaze Souffle smells like heaven in a jar. It smells sweet but not overpowering, I don’t like those very sweet even sickening scents. It leaves your skin feeling very soft and the smell lingers all day.
I’ve already talked about the Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner in a previous post. I use this when I feel lazy or don’t have time to apply body lotion after my shower. I love the smell of roses and how quick it works, you just apply this while you’re in the shower, rinse and you end up with hydrated skin.
If I need extra help with dry patches I reach for the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. This is so versatile as you can use it for dry lips, elbows or anywhere you have dry patches. It’s great if you live in a climate that has harsh winters.
The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil is a cult favorite and their best selling product. Like the name implies this is a multi-use product, you can use it on your face, body or hair. It is strong scented so I would not use this on my face, I don’t like my face product with strong smells. But for the body and the hair it works wonders. Applied on the body it hydrates all day and adds a little shine but without the greasy oil feeling. They also have a shimmery version that’s great for summer.
