Charlotte Tilbury released her summer limited collection which is a collaboration with English photographer Norman Parkinson, famous for his work in fashion. She created a makeup and accessories collection decorated with the photographer’s iconic images.

With this makeup collection, I wanted to capture Norman Parkinson’s vision of beauty. He was an alchemist of light, capturing the sun and the differing effects of mood-lighting on the skin in a really unique way. He also had a beautiful sensibility for colour. Makeup artists use the same concepts of colour and light to enhance the facial framework. With these products, you can literally paint your face in Parkinson’s youth-enhancing light every day. I wanted everyone to feel touched by the magic of his lens!

The two makeup bags in the collection are stunning. The “On Call” makeup bag is what I would call a weekend getaway makeup bag. It’s the perfect size for your bag if you carry a larger one or if you’re traveling somewhere for a shorter time it will fit every essential that you need.
The Bathing Beauty bag is a vacation bag. It will fit everything! From makeup products to hair and skincare products. I’m planning on taking this bag with me on my three week vacation to Europe which by the way I’m pretty excited for.
Filmstar Bronze & Glow – This is the cream version of the original compact in powder form. The compact features a Norman Parkinson photograph of Jerry Hall on the beach in Jamaica in 1975 which was a Vogue cover. The Sun Tan & Sun Light compact is a face sculpting and highlighting compact in a cream form. The face sculpting side appears darker in the pan than the powder version but when it’s applied on the face it looks very natural and bronzed. The highlighter side is also more subtle than the powder version, it’s the perfect golden highlighter for daytime. Using a denser brush helps with blending and application.
Colour of Youth – Lip & Cheek Colour – It’s literally the color of youth. It’s the perfect coral cream blush that gives a healthy look to the cheeks. It’s very easy to apply, I just use my fingers for application and blending. For a more intense color I advise using tapping motions when applying. It’s very pigmented but blends really nicely to the skin and never looks patchy.
Dreamy Glow Highlighter – It’s a soft mood lit light champagne shade with a hint of peach. The powder fees very soft the the touch, almost like you’re touching a cream to powder product. It’s one of those highlighters that you can wear during the day and not look over the top. It doesn’t emphasize pores even when you pack it on and wears nicely through the day. If you’re looking for a more natural highlighter you should definitely check this out.
Matte Revolution in Miss Kensington and 1975 Red – Charlotte Tilbury’s matte formula of lipsticks is one of my favorite to wear, I’m so happy that she added two beautiful matte shades to this line. Miss Kensington is a light nude pink shade with a matte finish. The matte formula is not drying and very comfortable to wear. The only complain I have is that this shade can emphasize dry lips so make sure your lips are in good condition before application.
1975 Red is a red shade with orange undertones. If you follow me on social media you’ll know that this shade is my perfect shade of lipstick. An orange red lipstick screams summer to me, it looks perfect with bronzed and glowy skin.

I love everything about this collection, from the gorgeous vintage packaging to the products inside. Both lipstick shades are something that I would wear a lot, the cream products are perfect for summer and the highlighter is just beautiful.
