It all started with Pale Barley. I picked up that shade out of curiosity, I’ve read a lot of good reviews and since I like my eyeshadows pretty neutral on daily basis I decided to treat myself.
Well I loved Pale Barley so much that I had to get another shade :), I picked up Rosewood. The Burberry Wet & Dry Silk eyeshadow in Rosewood is a true taupe color with a hint of silver shimmer. Like with the other shade the shimmer is so finely milled that it shows up as a beautiful sheen on the eyes.
The eyeshadow can be used dry for a wash of color or wet if you would like a more intense pigmentation and a more metallic finish.
The formula is very smooth, blends really easy, lasts all day and you don’t get any fall out, so everything that I’m looking from an eyeshadow. This is one of those eyeshadows that you can use on it’s own and it would look like you have used couple of shades to create your eye look. It has hints of purple and taupe brown so it depends on the lighting it changes color.
If you love your taupe shades I would say get this. It’s definitely a treat and a luxury item but so worth the price, starting from the heavy magnetic sleek packaging to the smooth eyeshadow formula, I just can’t find one thing that I don’t like about these eyeshadows.
Do you own any shades of the new Burberry Wet & Dry Silk eyeshadows? Let me know what shades you recommend.
