I said to myself that I was not going to buy another eyeshadow palette since I have plenty but then I saw swatches of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture World Traveler palette and that was the end of my reasoning.
The palette has twelve eyeshadows with three finishes in matte, satin and metallic. The shades range from a neutral peachy nude to a pop of vibrant blue. It’s stated on ABH website that the formula can be applied wet or dry but I would stick only to the metallic finish if you want to apply them wet.
What I like about this palette is the shade selection, it’s not your usual neutral palette because of the pops of blue, purple and pink shades. The palette is also a good way to try her eyeshadows since the singles are pricier so for $30 you will try twelve shades and then decide if you want to pick your favorite shade in a single form.
All shades have pretty good pigmentation. The matte and satin shades all feel very smooth to the touch and blend nicely. I would use the metallic finish eyeshadows wet just to prevent fallout since they have a lot of shimmer and also to get a better color payoff and more of a foiled finish.

I think this is one of my favorite palettes that Anastasia has released, together with the Amrezy palette they’re two of my favorites. The eyeshadow shade selection is excellent, you can still do a neutral eye, a smoky eye or a colorful eye and you have that all in one palette. The packaging also feels nicer than her previous palettes and sturdier so it will be great to take for travel.
The palette is limited edition and I’m not sure until when it will be available so if you’re interested run and grab it.
